At the heart of Olney Community Library's mission is a commitment to fostering a love for reading among students and adults. In pursuit of this goal, the library has introduced Bookmarked/OnShelf, an innovative tool designed to enhance reading experiences for students, educators, and parents alike.

Texas Senate Bill 13 requires schools to share proposed library book purchases with parents and the community before they are approved. Olney ISD has posted the current list of titles under review here on the website. Families are invited to look over the list and share feedback before the School Board votes.

Olney Community Library is a designated voter registration site.
